I believe that every human being who is born in this world bring a book of odyssey with empty pages. It is depend on us, what kind of stories that we want to write in every pages. Which road that we want to go, how hard we want to work along the way, what we will fill our days with… a sad or happy story, how we will live our life. Ho we will end this book of journey is also in our hands, with tears or smile?
If someone ask me to describe my odyssey back from Bali till now, I would say in my own quote;
“My journey is not always beautiful but I can make it becomes meaningful”
I’m so thankful to have such a tough life in my early age, growed up in small town of Bali, learning how to become a survivor until now. It was some moments in my past that left scars in me but from those scars I learned a lot, those scars make me a better human being, scars that were there not to kill me but to turn me become a stronger person. I have chose the road that I want to pass, I have chose what type of stories that I want to use to fill all my pages and I have chose what kind of ending I want in my book of odyssey… and none of those decisions that had been made I regret!
I choose my own battle and my own war. Sometimes I defeated and there were a time I lose some battles but I learned from every single of it and admitted with my head held high. But it makes me have a better strategy, well prepared, do and fight much better next time which I have done and proved so many times to myself and others that as long as there are a faith, fight, believe and hope that kept alive, everything is gonna be fine at the end.
My mom ever told me before I moved to the UK ;
“Don’t forget where you are come from and don’t feel shame about it, because those experiences help you to become you are now”
A flashback,… I started my life with my beautiful family in Bali in a quite low level in material stuff but we lived and accepted unconditionally. We never give up to show the world that we can do our best and become the best in our own way. We gained thousand important points in life that we grateful for, values that we bring and use it still till our life now and would love to share with our extension family. The lessons that we won’t exchange even with millions of money, the dignity that we cherish for the rest of our life. My parents taught me in their own unique way and I’m so blessed to be their child. I love them so much!
Hmm… I’m being so melancholy tonight 🙂 got to stop now before you folks get bored 😀
Another time with another flashback of my memories… 🙂
