Thoughts about Gotland

Browsing pictures for my project makes me realize that I miss Gotland so much, especially when The Medieval Festival is held there. There was something with that unique island, something that make me fell in love for the first time especially when my hubby and I went to see the sea stacks, there were a lot of breath taking moment there. The combination between the beauty of nature and great festival for sure had stole my heart from start till end of our journey, I left my heart there… to comeback and enjoy with my P again.

This is the second time I see Medieval Festival, where people where so many unique yet beautiful costume with many interesting chosen colour. Everything about medieval that people wish for was there, from food, market, attractions, games, sports, theater and so on… the list still becoming longer and longer. This festival is on every year in August month and it’s going on for about 8 days. The one in France was nice but this even more interesting, maybe because we were there for 8 days while in France we saw it only for a couple of hours. I’m sure both of them have the same length of festival but my heart picked the one in Gotland 😀 maybe because it is closer to where I live? I don’t think so because the vibrant is different and in Gotland we have a lot of things to see in surrounding area, for example beautiful beaches and places of interest. What can I say… it’s worth to spend one or two weeks in this tiny island. For me… nothing can bored me there 🙂

The sun is high up now… seems it will be a nice weather today and yet again… sunny weather remind me when we spent our day in our two favourite sea stacks, Diggerhuvud and Langhammars. This thought makes me wants to have a special album for just Gotland and the beauty that it has… the amazing pair of mother nature and kultur. I might do that in the summer or maybe sooner… we’ll see!

Gotland… till we meet again!
