Sometimes in life, we can’t see clearly what is in front of us, not even a simple color give us a clue what the next step should be. Keep walking and you will find those you need to make you strong along the way, and don’t worry… there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Yup, that was exactly what my mind thought about when I learned what urban and street photography is. We started from Skanstull and to be honest, it wasn’t easy for me at first. I felt nervous but hey… my confidence came along with our feet took longer distance. I had Bunda -one of my good friends here in Stockholm- beside me who is always encourage me to not be afraid to try and keep trying, maybe because of her advice I became comfortable holding my camera and started shooting every movement on the street 😀
Finally I managed to get some more pictures that I like it a lot because for me each of them told a meaningful story, well from hundreds shots only a couple of them struck my attention. I put them in black in white color to add some drama and mysterious effect to make the story even clearer. I, myself… really happy with what I’ve achieved today, learned new skill in photography and through those pictures I could sense what journey every person has with them, even I see them from behind. It might not the exact tales but a tale that they told from their act and behaviors, I’m not an expert but in my surprise those stories tell me without I even asked 😀
Today was a fun day… full of laugh, lesson and stories to remember. The sun was on our side and hopefully it always will. Time to grab my books and read a bit for tomorrow lecture, and… maybe, if the weather as nice as today and yesterday… I might be able to capture another side of beauty of our beloved mother nature. We will see what tomorrow could bring, for now…. bye and see you!!! 🙂
