Weekly Photo Challenge: Today

Swedish National Day 2012, today we went to Old Town where the palace was open for public without any fee. It was surprisingly nice weather to have stroll and hang out with my P. Well… in the morning the weather forecast seemed not promising at all, we almost decided to bring the umbrella but we skipped it πŸ˜€ We thought that, if it would be rain then we head home straight away. But hey… once again, we had blue sky and not so cold wind, the temperature was around 15 to 16 degree.

Came home, I still don’t have any inspiration to write anything, grab my laptop and just browsing in WordPress. Then I came across this post and I’ll remember that I have photo of mini strawberry that we have just now for dessert. Yipeeee…. I decided to join the challenge πŸ˜€ I know, these photos might not the best photo but hey… I have nothing to lose, I wanna have fun by joining the challenge πŸ™‚ This is the first time I found such tiny strawberries, they give me inspiration to captured their cute color maybe one day… write a short story about them πŸ˜€

I bought almost 2,5 kilos of them and trust me, every time I eat them, they melted easily in my mouth, hmmm… yummy!!! I called it a perfect summer fruit! πŸ™‚ Tomorrow, I’ll buy some ice cream and I still have another kilo of them to enjoy while watching TV or… doing my home exam LOL!!! Yeah… I still have one home exam and one literature assignment to submit before the school ends. Hopefully tomorrow I could fix them after work. Talking about strawberries, back in 2008 in my early time in Sweden, I used to go to Mom and Dad’s house… ups Mom and Dad here are actually my parents in laws but I call them the same way I call my parents, well… they are now my parents too, you know πŸ™‚ pssst… I know it is not common in Sweden but hey… I am Balinese/Indonesian and not Swede πŸ˜€ Back to these delicious fruits, Mom and Dad had before quite wide backyard full of strawberries and almost every summer, P and I went there and spent time with them and guess what? I was busy picking strawberries every day πŸ˜€ I missed those days 😦 but hey… soon I’ll be able to do it again. Mom and Dad bought a new house after they have sold the old one and they have new strawberry plants for me, yuhuuu…. soon, I’ll find myself take out the net that cover the strawberries and start to pick them. To be honest, can’t wait!!!

I want to upload my pictures that I have taken today, but I feel don’t want to do it. Again… I haven’t get all my energy back πŸ™‚ maybe tomorrow or… the day after tomorrow haha!!! Lazy Deni πŸ˜› !!! There are many pictures in my memory cards that I haven’t transfer to the external hard drive, I know… I know… I should do it before my laptop gives me another sign that it can’t serve me any longer. IΒ  have been thinking to change it but I still try to find the way to fix it πŸ˜€ even though I am not a kind of person who know technology so well. Di, that’s the way I called my laptop is old now but it has served me so well these past couple of years, hard to replace it. I hope I still can use it for another year or two.

Before I stop writing this post, I’ll put my last photo of my cute and delicious mini strawberries. Will see you tomorrow again… nite nite friends!
