Hello friends… it has been awhile 🙂 Late post? Well for me it is better late than never haha! There were loads of thing that kept me on my toes, but now I am back!

First of all, we got the house!! Yey… I know, we are so excited to live in our house. We are so glad to find a house that suit us and our needs, hmm… after a couple months of searching 😀 finally… our next nest is ready for us to continue build our family and fill up our book of journeys. One sentence to describe the feeling…. can’t wait!!!

Back to the title of this post, 06-06-2012! It was Swedish national day, the palace in the Old Town was open for public for free. My P and I went there to enjoy the day and for me… taking picture of course. As you can see how crowded it was inside the palace. It has been loooooong time we have been go inside and we took a chance this time.

We were not allowed to take picture inside the palace but we were allowed to take pictures of the guards who were standing at the entrance of the palace. Hmmm, I can’t remember if I had pictures of guards but never mind, I have them now 🙂

Because there were so many people would like to go inside, we kind of got stuck on the stairs around 5-10 minutes before heading up inside it. Actually, if I can say that the palace itself is not that grand in comparison with royal palace in the United Kingdom for example, but still for me it is interesting to read the story behind every room we passed. While we walked through the hall, my mind went with my imagination about many stories I’ve read when I was child, stories about prince and princesses. Honestly, it made me miss England so much and it would be nice if I am able to visit Windsor Castle again as I used to do back a couple of years ago when we lived there and got a free card to visit the castle as much as I wanted 🙂 Outside the palace, there was a group of scouts selling hot dog and yes… of course we don’t want to miss it. Not so long, I found myself taking picture of the guards with their beautiful horses. I’ve seen them so many times but strangely enough I never got tired to capture them through my camera. I always amazed how great the horses are, the look really healthy, strong and beautiful. Trust me… I was not the only one who want to take pictures of them 😀 there are thousand tourist were waiting for them patiently. We moved and followed the guard to the other area of the palace where I could see many people waiting for something. I saw a couple of guards wore many different uniforms, from blue to black color one. At first I thought they were waiting for the royal family and I was standing there too 😀 and after a couple of hours, my P told me that there would be no royal family that day. Then we decided to walk around Old Town and enjoy the brilliant weather. We had a delicious lunch and met some people before we had home. I got some pictures of the Old Town but I’ll put them in separate post 😀

That was my day in the beginning of June month 🙂
