Travel theme: Night

Night… hmmm interesting theme. Today I went out with some friends and yes… we had a stroll till 9:30 PM in the night time. When I saw the email about this theme my mind suddenly went to a couple of photos that I took at night around Stockholm. Some of them is my old photos but some of them is new. Because for this summer I haven’t able to allow myself taking night photos or maybe blue hour time in Sweden. I supposed could do it soon though while the night is not so dark and it is still summer time hehehhe πŸ˜€

It is like the first picture was taken this year in a metro station close by where I live and I think it told a story that one winter night could be beautiful and I don’t mind to stay for a while and enjoy the view πŸ™‚

The picture on the left side is showing the Stockholm City Hall in one of autumn nights. Autumn? Yes, I took this for my assignment from school and it was autumn last year. It is really pretty building at night -and in the day time too- but I won’t take picture again there in the same season because it was so cold with the breeze from the water. If I have someone to accompany me, I might take couple of shot of it in this summer, anyone would like to join me? πŸ˜€

I put a picture of Stockholm City Hall from far away and now this is a picture of the building from the inside. I still try to show you guys the beauty of it and you see how romantic it is if you go there with your beloved one and have a night stroll while your hands hold each other. Ups… I can’t help myself to think about something romantic every time I see this picture πŸ˜€ Don’t you agree with me? Maybe some of you will say ‘Yes’ and some of you will say ‘No’ but one thing I could suggest you, please come here and let see if you agree with me or not.

If you don’t want to go to this building, you can have a long walk in town too. As you see in this picture that I took in Fridhemsplan area which is quite central and believe me, there are many restaurant you can go to before having a sight seeing in the night with your friends or alone. This is another example of early summer in Sweden. The day lights stay a bit longer and you still can do so much outside and it kinds of you have extra time to spending time to do whatever you like while the sun is up late night, a moments that you will miss to have when the winter time comes. I love to live in this country in any season because every season gives you beauty that you never experienced before… in the day time or at night. So, is it inviting enough to convince you to visit Stockholm? πŸ™‚

Wonderful shots, Dema, and all so different in character. I always love snowy scenes, that top one is really great, but I think my favourite is the third one, because of the lovely shadows! πŸ™‚

Thank you Ailsa πŸ™‚ I got many shots in the night but I think these are the one that shows Stockholm in general in the night time at any season. Glad that you like them πŸ™‚
