We started early yesterday, it was about 6 AM and we had prepared our snack for the fishing trip, from coffee, sandwich, yogurt and water. Woke up 5 AM and had light breakfast before started going about 30 kilometer from in laws house. Mom won’t come with us for fishing and this trip will be first time for P and I. I felt really excited about this trip. I put only 4 photos of it but I’ll put some more shots in another post which is more about the beauty of nature. This post is all about the activity that we did for almost the whole day. Dad loves fishing and it was nice to enjoy with him and I, specially could get in touch with the nature more. The first catch was caught by P, yey… we were so happy and of course I didn’t want to miss this moment, click…click and as you see a big smile on my P’s face with Dad in the background 🙂
Our first lake to fish is a lake where Dad has been fishing for a couple of time here, so he knew this are really well. I’m so sorry that I completely forgot the name, well… I should ask Dad tomorrow about it -22:00 PM and it is not a good idea to call him :D- The weather wasn’t really great, it was showering but it didn’t stop us to catch more fish 🙂 We met a couple of fisherman -I wonder if I really can call them fisherman instead of a person who has hobby to catch fish- 🙂 Dad knew some of them and he had a short chat before finding the right spot to fish. After a while the sky turned blue and we were zip off our rain jacket and continue fishing. Dad catch the second one and the third one. I took his picture when he tried to kill the fish and I examine how to do that, well… who knows I might catch one -this was my thought- 😛 At first I felt pity with the fish but hey… it is what a fisherman should do isn’t it? I’m sorry if some of you who come across this post -who might be animal lover- and think that this post is cruel. I don’t mean to offence you, I just want to show how it was done. Once again, I’m sorry in advance 😦
I took a couple of shot of P while he was fishing, as Dad said… I take picture of everything haha! 😀 It was another moment where I could see how happy P was, hang out with Dad and moved from one spot to another tried to catch some more fish. We got 3 Rainbow Salmon so far when finally, that was my turn, yuhuuuu… I was so exciting to try to guide the fish to the land and trust me… small fish could give you such a good fight. It had power that could brake you 😀 -me to be precise- haha! and beside me, P and Dad were giving instruction how to do it. Finally, I could see the fish and yeah…. feel good after seeing the fish is finally in my hand. Dad showed and helped me how to take the hook off from the fish. He has a special equipment which is made from a wood or a branch actually that make it easier to get the hook back without any further damage to the fish. P got the camera and shot me and Dad, well… to have memory from our first fishing trip. You can see my clothes, yup… it was P’s jacket 😀 silly me… I didn’t bring any jacket even though I knew that we are going to fish with Dad. Luckily, I packed extra jacket for P so… there it was, me in a bit bigger jacket 😛 When the clock showed 11 AM and we got 5 fish, we decided to go to the other lake close by. First, we would like to just look and see how the lake is because we don’t have enough time and needed to go back home to Stockholm. But you know what, we ended up fishing some more haha 😀 The first throw and fishing rod was moving back and forward when we were preparing for our next fishing rod. We jumped and ran to it and what we got??? A 1,7 kg Rainbow Salmon, it gave me such a fight, I used all my power to bring is closer. Yey… we found a big smile on our faces 😀 Finally, we got fish which weight more than 1 kg 🙂
P took my picture when I checked how much the fish weight was. Don’t you agree with me that the fish is big? 😀 Look at me, I looked like a mess 😛 Yup… those eyes couldn’t sleep and woke up at 5 AM because to excited to go fishing 🙂 Well… at least I caught the biggest fish on the day haha!
We delayed our departure back about 1-2 hours and we got all the fish with us. We had our last lunch in Nordmalling -a small village by the coast- with Mom and Dad. What a day…!!! We are going to do it again for sure 😀 For now, I have more than 500 picture to transfer to my external hard drive. If I don’t see you more tonight than I’ll see you again tomorrow, nite nite friends!
