A trip to the island of Blidö

Not much for today activities, just get rid of the dirty clothes and checking some emails and of course take a look at my photos 🙂

I bring my eyes to see through back window and I see the weather turns from sunny to cloudy and I think soon it will be rainy, perfect time to do some home activities such as cleaning and laundry haha! 😀 While I am waiting for the clothes get done, I check my photos *as usual* and come across some photos from out trip to Blidö *you might not see what my words is because the letter o is a special* :), another area in North of Stockholm where many people choose to buy their summer house. Our friends rent a summer house there and they invited us to stay for a weekend and believe me… we love it there!

Can you imagine, waking up in the morning, your eyes were spoiled with a beautiful view that you can see from the wooden deck where you have your breakfast serves. The house itself is surrounded by cherry trees, blue berry and raspberry bushes, well… for me it was heaven! I can pick berries as much as I want and any time I want!!! Yes, I have my biggest smile on my face every single time 😀

We had walk every day towards the water and a pair of summer shoes struck my eyes and yes… I had my camera with me and here you are a picture what my eyes were drawn into. There was a long wooden deck on the water and small beach. I saw many people park their boat there and once again the view is so interesting and of course I didn’t want to miss it. I brought my camera everywhere we went because you never know when the right moment come to you and if you are not ready then you won’t get the same chance in life.

On Saturday after having a long walk, we had a barbecue night while watching the summer Olympics on TV but suddenly I saw a very interesting colors in the sky and I ran inside to grab my camera and start shooting as many pictures as I can. Trust me, it might not appear so interested in picture but in the reality, it was amazing to witness the amazing mix between the sunset, the silhouette of trees and the rain clouds. What do you think? Don’t you agree that my last picture -which shows the moments I described above- is pretty interesting in term of colors and also the shape of different trees that create those beautiful black silhouette.

I would love to go there again and stay for a couple of days and this thoughts give me idea to rent this house for a month for next summer 🙂 Hmmm, we will see! I have a cute little house now and I’m sure I will live there happy and summer 2013 I might busy to take care of our backyard, ehmm… backyard?! Yes, we have one! and you never know, maybe I will have my own raspberry bushes 😀

Hi Odilets, thank you for stopping by. I’m glad that you find my post give you a little bit description about Sweden 🙂 even though there are still many beautiful things here that will make you stay a bit longer than you realize 🙂 So, let me know when will you visit Sweden (Stockholm in particular) I’ll show you around this unique city.
Swedish people generally nice, they are unique if you compare with other country but as soon as you get in in the society then you will see that they are friendly and helpful the same like other part of the world (as my experience) 🙂
