Special Photo Challenge: Inspiration

I can’t sleep and what do I do when my eyes refuse to close?! Looking at thousand picture that I took along my journey, writing -almost about everything- and browsing. Well… some times I found something that can inform me about something, can make me even more awake 😀 or something that can challenge me like… I found this! A special photo challenge! Then I said to myself… why not! 🙂 Here you go, my first inspiration I got from our amazing mother nature -who else?-

Other than teaching me about something, nature is also giving me opportunity to shape my skill to see the world from another angle.  Before I didn’t pay too much attention with my surrounding but now… a smallest thing that you find in nature could draw my attention and believe me… there is always beauty in every single thing nature has to offer. May I say, nature is my endless bank of inspiration!

People -especially with a character- is always succeed to give me some inspiration. Sometimes it could be a photo or a story… anything!!

This is my very good friend that I bond like a sister! I known her just for 6 years now but it seemed our path is started away before that. I got my chance to capture her face which I think has a strong character in a good way, a warrior princess I could say 🙂 well… she is a warrior princess! At least to us, people whom she met by chance through many form of social connection and from stranger become a sister! She visited me last month and I took her to my favorite place called Skansen, Swedish open air museum.

Mention about Skansen, did I tell you that one place that I consider my other source of inspiration is this open air museum which is located in one of the islands that build Stockholm.

I had use pictures from this place for many occasion, some of them you could find here and here.  I have my yearly card to this place and I would renew it for sure next year. For me, Skansen is like a magic place! It doesn’t matter how many times I visit it, there is always something new that I am able to capture or even notice. I love and adore this place so much and I wish I have many more years to come to enjoy and discover some more amazing things here. When I step my feet on the entrance of Skansen, idea of writing, learning or capturing something is always occupied my entire mind. If you visit Stockholm, Skansen is a must travel destination to see!

Food, I got some of my inspiration from food 😀 Love to cook them, love to capture them and the last but not least… love to eat them too!

I cook not only Balinese or Indonesian food but also some Western food. Of course I am not an expert for this but if I am able to put smile on my family’ and friends’ faces then I am happy! I make improvisation all the time, so one day -who knows- you meet me and have chance to taste my food, if I serve you pasta… don’t expect that it will taste the same with the one in Italy, because it will has an Indonesian twist with it 😀 Yeah… sometimes even I put some Balinese twist on it haha! Call me mad! 😛 but trust me… most of the time it works!! LOL!!!

Lately I managed to try some of new recipe, as I mentioned in one of my previous post that every weekend we have friends come and stay over so… I have my chance to improve my skill in the kitchen.

I am a completely utterly amateur in cooking, photography and writing. So… bear with me! 🙂 That is one of the reason why I’ve tried my best to learn something in every day life, as I wrote in this blog… one step at a time!
