Well, with a cup of hot tea -still- I am challenging myself to join -again- this week Travel theme which is liquid!
When I heard liquid, my mind went to huge amount of it, and lucky me I live in a town which is surrounded by water 😀 and yes, it is Stockholm city!!! If you happen to have plan to visit Stockholm, it is better -I say it for so many times- you come when we have a better weather, maybe spring, summer or autumn but don’t get me wrong… when the snow is falling and covering the city, no one will stop you -even me will ask you to come- to have a glance at it and enjoy the whitey Stockholm, or… maybe a white Christmas??!
Last couple of winter seasons we’ve been blessed to see how beautiful this place is. Walking on the frozen lake, seeing trees become white and it felt like in the land of Narnia. Hopefully this year we have snow, can’t wait to walk and take pictures again! I throw my eyes through the window and you know what… my deck is covered by white snow now!!! Yeyyy….!!!! 😀
Ok… enough with the dream of white Christmas! Back to the topic, liquid!! Yes, I have many places that I can enjoy my food while my eyes are spoiled with beautiful view of water. One of them is….
A restaurant which is located in one of area North of Sweden. My bad that I forgot the name, one thing that I remember from this place -except the view- is the food was excellent!!! P, Farsan and Morsan -this is the way I call my parents in law- and I love this place and hopefully next summer, we are going to have lunch again here. I promise you that I’ll take some more pictures for sure haha 😀
My next favorite spot is…
called Sickla waterfront 🙂 Honestly, can’t get enough with the view! Every summer, I always go there, sometimes with my camera, sometimes just hang out and have a chat with friends or…. feeding the seagull 🙂
Sickla also has parks with white cherry blossom, it is located in town so it is not so hard to find this pretty place actually. You can have a picnic while watching cute flowers are dancing with the wind and glare at not just the white one but the pink one too!! Year 2012, I managed to take many shots of flowers is also known as Sakura, next spring will be another story of photo shoot with flowers.
The picture above is taken close to the restaurant I mentioned before in the beginning of the post. It might not the best picture but every time I have a look at it, it tells me the same story and moments I spent with my loved ones is rolling in my head, what an amazing day it was! Maybe I should write a short story about this place… base on what it showed me through a boat and the water. Hmmm, later??!! We’ll see 😀
Talking about pictures that tell me a story, this is one of them…
We found this place by mistake, we were about to go Dalarö but we ended up in an area where we couldn’t recognize ourselves. So we make a quick stop and this scene caught my eyes and of course I couldn’t help myself to ask my lovely hubby to stop for capture the moment. I didn’t realize completely about it until I got home and saw it again more clear on the computer screen and I love it!! Not because I am the one who was taking it but because the sense that I feel every time my eyes land on this. It might not every one’s cup of tea but… as I said, to me… it tells a story!!
Yup…. these are photos that I’ve taken with my love to mother nature and my interpretation of this week theme; liquid! Do apologize if the post is quite late 😀 Enjoy!!!
