Another day another story

Another day another story, today was interesting in my point of view. The weather is so much better than yesterday but some of the public transportation still gets some distraction. For example the train from the station close to our home, usually in a normal day it would take me only maximum 40 minutes to go to Central station and I don’t need to change in any station. But as I say, today is different!

Another day another story

It took me around 1 hour and 28 minutes to arrive at work. Luckily, I went from home quite early than usual because in my thought I would like to have spare time to be able to face any situation it might be. Well… I was right! The broken train from yesterday wasn’t go anywhere, it still in station called Älvsjö and as the result, I have to change from the train to metro in Farsta Strand. At that moment, I was still fine and feel okay about everything. I still have 1 hour spare time to reach work but apparently this time I was completely wrong! The train was stop in Skärmabrink which is only 6 station before my job place, this time was not because of the weather but more because one of passenger was sick and the metro need to stop to wait for the ambulance to come. What a chaos!!! Because trust me, I wasn’t alone on that train. There were thousand other people join me to get out of the train and try to catch the next train which -we sure- was it’s packed with passenger too. So, we were rushing to get as close as possible in the edge of the platform and fighting to find the right spot so we will be the first person go inside the train. What a moment!!!

After the snow storm

After a while finally, they manage to take the sick passenger out and bring him/her –we have no clue about the gender of the sick passenger- to the nearest hospital. We are allowed to get in to the train again and continue our journey but it wasn’t that easy to try to find a seat. No chance!!! I was standing in the middle of the coach and boy… I could tell that every body chose to go at the same time the office this morning or….maybe they have a similar situation as I do?! Well… you never know!

Skärmabrink station Stockholm

I arrived in the office 10 minutes before the opening hour, I felt so good after yesterday wasn’t able to come to the office at all. At some point I am happy to see my desk!! As a newbie, it is kind of extra energy to go to work and learn something new. I’m sure that there are many things to learn and get a better understanding about any situation that we can face in the job place. As I stated before, I am happy to be back at work!

I think I forgot to tell you one think! You know that I wasn’t able to write one or two post last week because my computer was giving up on me. I thought it was the battery which already served me for almost 3,5 years –in one month time- but yet again, I was wrong… it was the charger! Yeah the charger is older than the battery, it served me well for 4 years and I think it is time to change it. I changed the battery once when the computer just 6 months old because it was something wrong and it was leaking, I got new battery replacement. Now…I don’t know if I should by a new computer or buy a new charger?! At the main time, I’ll use my old Di until I got my new Di, yeah… I named my computer ‘Di’!

I got to go now! I need to prepare the food for guests who will stay over in our place this weekend. I don’t have any idea what kind of food I need to serve but I guess it would be Indonesian food. ‘Daging asam padeh’ and martabak are something that I have in mind and we will see if it would be the same ones on the table later on. Catch with you soon!!
