Back to the city we love

We just arrived in Stockholm after spending Christmas with my lovely in laws. It was a comfy celebration, we ate a lot and just had long chat and play games with all presents that we prepare. We have kind of tradition that every year each of us has to buy 2 presents each with the price limitations. Then we use two dices to get the same number then we can pick one present, it goes till there is no present left. We open them and we play again for a certain time, finally when the time is off we got our own present, ups… sometimes we can get none of them haha 😀

The other things that we did was having a stroll around the house. It was -16 but as you know that that kind of temperature is quite common for them who live up North of Sweden. We heard that some area reached -27 which is remind us when we spend Christmas 3 years ago in Åre, we had the same number when we were standing outside in town square waiting for the Santa to come. The next day we went to place called Vålådalen where the number is -34 and trust me… it was the coldest day I’ve ever been. We walked around the area and I know now how is the feeling of the trees in the winter time when they covered by snow 😀

This time we went not so long because we have to get back soon when the sun is setting and accompany Mom who wasn’t come with us because her arm got broken. Everything was frozen, even the road to Grandpa’ and Grandma’s grave that made us weren’t able to stop by to light the candle. Hopefully next time the snow is not that hard to clear. Love to see the water that freeze and hanging in some of the houses and also in the water pipes that look like an art in my eyes. Can you believe it that a simple thing could turn become something special in the winter time.

Have a stroll

We saw not only us who were outside on Christmas day. There are many people came with their loved ones, some of them got busy hunting for the discount that started that day and some of them just happy to be out from the house. Us? We bought for Mom and Dad a cable to connect the computer to the TV as we have in Stockholm, it is very useful to have especially if we miss some of the TV series that we like to watch. For me personally, it was good time to take some pictures and complete my collection.

Nooo… time flies!!!! I got to go because tomorrow I have to work and it is time to prepare my lunch and everything that needed for the day. But I promise you, you’ll see me again soon 🙂 Nite nite!
