Spring?

springI just finished to make seed pots for tomorrow. What? Yes… I made my own pots to plant some seeds that I bought a couple weeks ago. Spring is almost come to Stockholm but before we talk about Spring, should we do some flash back about what was happening in Stockholm in these last couple of months.

The snow was melted quite slowly because we had still temperature below 5 and in the night time even we had below zero but we were happy to welcome Spring time. Some days were warm with the sun shone brightly but trust me… one can get confused and misunderstood completely! Well… at least me who found so often misjudge the sunny day by wearing a thin jacket and believe me, it was still cold in March!!!! After a couple of days, I learned my lesson🙂 My bright green boots always accompanied me to go to the office. Yeah, I know you will thinkspring that my boots is not the most fashionable shoes in the whole world *GRIN* but I love to wear those because it is so warm, light and easy to wear! Ups… one more think, it is the cheapest
winter boots I’ve ever had!! I bought it about 2 years ago at one of the sport shop called Decathlon for 150 SEK. First, I was thinking to wear it to go out to throw the rubbish or short walk but in this past 1,5 years I used them almost every day in the winter time. They serve me well to be honest😀 Sometimes I noticed that some people stared at them and with frown in their forehead. I understand those looks because here in springSweden, even in the winter time you still can see the fashion is there, on the road, on the train, every where🙂 Hmmm, did I tell you that I am not a big fans of fashion. Don’t talk or discuss about the trend with me, you will get lost or… should I say I will get utterly lost! LOL!!!!!! I wear something that I am confident and comfortable for me which is sometimes my friends get annoyed by that hehehe. But don’t get me wrong, I can put my nice clothes too you know, especially if we have a special occasion. So it means that I am not completely out of fashion *my sister won’t agree with this :P*

Now, stop talking about these boots shall we?! Beside the cold was still around in March, we also had strong wind and guess what??? We had a snowy day!! You don’t believe me?! Then you should come to Sweden next time hahaha! Every one said that we won’t have any spring time and will jump straight away to the summer. Last week finally we had the sign of the Spring.spring I saw some flowers in our front yard, came through the thick ice. Before I step inside the house, I grab my phone and capture this beauty. Love it…. love it!!!! Spring is in the corner.

At the train station I could see that the snow is gone. But if you live in Sweden then you might know that you can have a foggy day, a cloudy day, a rainy day or… a snowy day in April. Finger crossed the last one won’t come because my back yard looks green without snow on top of it🙂 People started being friendly again together with the Spring time comes. As my P always Said, Sweden is two different countries, one country in the Winter time and the other one in Summer time which I think quite right. Because people become friendlier when the sun is shining and the day getting longer every day. They can’t wait to wear flip flop and shorts, hanging out in springthe park which in Sweden you can found park every where in town. Sometimes, I found myself talking and exchange words with our neighbor at the train station🙂

Last week, we had been good for one day before the ambulance came and brought me to hospital because of virus called ‘vinterkrĂ€ksjuka’ or in English will be Norovirus or Casili Virus. I’ve been living in this country for 4,5 years and this year is the most busiest activities in the hospital for me. January, I got tonsillitis and continued with long and hard cough for almost 2 months and at the end of March I found out that I got crack in some ribs because of the coughing that I got. We were in the emergency room farspring to often, almost every weekend! Hubby P said, unbelievable how we managed to end up spending weekend in the hospital in these couple of months. Hopefully last time was the last time.

We (mostly my lovely P) cleaned the 10 cm ice from our wooden deck and I succeed to tidy up the garage and open some boxes and changed it to the see through IKEA plastic  boxes. It looks nice now🙂 It was done before I had to be in the ambulance.

Tomorrow is time for me to plant some seed, vegetables, sun flower and also change the tomatoes plants to bigger pots. Hopefully the weather will be at our side so I can be outside and check if the deer or something still very kin to taste my tulips plants😀 Yup…. I found out that some of my tulips got destroyed! But it is okay, I think they are hungry after this very long Winter season🙂

I’ll post pictures tomorrow about my DIY paper seed pot and also a simple water bottle which I used to shape the pots. Me? Will sign out now and continue again when the sun is going down tomorrow…. see ya!!!!!
