The weather was not nice at all today, rain and thunder for the whole day. I was at home, lying down on the couch and do some soft strecth up to help my back free from swollen and pain. Doctor said that I need to do soft and slow exercise to help my back recover from the inflammation which cost me bed rest for couple of days. I looked through the window and yes… it remind me of a day when I was escort a friend who visited Stockholm for the first time, it was cloudy back then. We were taking stroll along the water in town, close to Vasa museum and as you see in pictures I post that it was a cloudy and foggy day. Despite the weather was so grey, I
amazed that this city still offered the visitor its beauty. I can’t stop my hand to grab the camera and capture view around us.
We saw some boats were waiting for their owner and for a better weather to discover what Stockholm’s archipelago could offer on a sunny day in Summer time. Believe me, when the sun is up and on weekend, you won’t see any boat park in the wooden deck. In my opinion, Stockholm has two amazing faces, one in the Winter and completely different in the Summer. There are always something about the capital city of Sweden has to offer, especially regarding outdoor activities. Hmmmm…. I might be wrong because Stockholm shows its own beauty too when the Autumn season comes! Personally, my second home has 4 unique yet amazing faces in every season it has.
I am lucky to have chance to live and witness how God creates such breathtaking views that I could just snap it with my camera. Some people said, Winter could be a nightmare *which is absolutely true* but every year I’ve spent here, there is always something nice comes up after bad weather. Gratefully I could say that this city teaches me a lot of value in life over and over and over again or in another words I could express that I learned about life here!
Even in a cloudy day, you still can see how colourful this town could be. The last picture was taken on the same day, the last Cherry Blossom flower to bloom before their leaves come out and waiting for the next season. This Spring time, I didn’t get many chances to take pictures of Cherry Blossom but hey… I am still here! I’m sure that 2014 I will have my chances and who knows… there might be something different yet amazing happen next year, amen.
