Craft: Flash Cards and Books Storage Boxes

Craft: Flash Cards and Books Storage Boxes

Another craft project with A and this time we recycle milk carton that we have at home. We make books and flash cards storage boxes. For this craft you will need:

  • Milk carton
  • Any kind of box
  • Scissors
  • See through tape
  • Cutter
  • Wrapping paper
  • Ballpoint/marker
  • Ruler

Craft: Flash Cards and Books Storage Boxes

First, wash the milk carton so there wonโ€™t be any milk left and the carton is cleaned. Dry it before measure it and cut it to the size that we wanted. Wrapped the milk carton with wrapping papper with help of see through tape. Then the flash cards storage box is ready to use. Do the same with the bigger box for books storage. We use box of paper shredder and cut it into half, the other half we use it for books storage box and the other half we use it to keep Aโ€™s farm animal collections. Do the same step to the paper shredder box. As simple as that ๐Ÿ™‚ .

Craft: Flash Cards and Books Storage Boxes

A has her own bookcase in her room on the top floor and another book storage in the living room. Because A is still sleeping in our room, so every night she can choose what kind of books she wants to read. We pick the books from her bookshelf in her room and we read it in the other room. A loves to play flash cards before going to bed, so we need another book storage to keep the books and flash cards tidy. Actually I have been thinking to find and buy some boxes to organize it but when I see the milk carton and the paper shredder box I got some idea to make one. I find out that I have some left over wrapping paper from Christmas, so it is perfect for this project.

It turns out great and A learn to organize her boxes in the room. She was happy to see that her flash cards got some box and she could take them out and put them back in easily. No more messy books and cards in the room. There will be a couple of projects of recycled milk cartons that I would like to do with A and Iโ€™ll put it as soon as the project finish.

This type of project is good to do when the weather outside is not allowed us to enjoy the sunshine. If you donโ€™t have wrapping paper, you can use newspaper or paint the carton. Another way to make it pretty and no one will notice that it is recycled milk carton or another unused box ๐Ÿ™‚ Simple activity with useful result.

See you in another project!

Iyaaa Bulur, memanfaatkan barang yang ada hihihihi daripada beli. A juga masih sering ga sengaja menjatuhkan tempatnya, jadi kalau rusak tinggal ambil karton susu yang disimpen dan bikin lagi deh hehehe ๐Ÿ™‚
